This is the classic hiking tour. The stunning view over the Walchensee will reward you for getting up early.
The Rossstein and Buchstein at the Tegernseer region will not leave you wanting more.
The climb to the top requires moderate physical fitness and will reward you with a wonderful view of the alpine mountains.

The foothills of the Alps offer large and small adventures. Wether it´s a relaxing bicycle tour or a challenging ride up and down a mountain. There is something for every level of fitness.
Follow the Isar bicycle path to Lenggries or even further to the Sylvensteinspeicher.
In the mornings you can load your bike on the bus and ride it to Eng. And from there you ride your bicycle the 60 km back to Bad Toelz. On this route alonge the Isar river you can see the beautiful Sylvensteinspeicher. We recommend bringing your swimsuit and a towel for a dip in the water.
At about 21km, you can enjoy a relaxing bike tour around the Kirchsee. Jump into the refreshing water and treat yourself with a local drink (beer) on the way back on the terrasse of the Kloster Reuthberg.

Freilichtmuseum Glentleiten
The Glentleiten Open Air Museum provides detailed insight into the everyday life of the people of Upper Bavaria, their construction and building culture and their working environment.
Neuschwanstein Castle
Visit the castle Neuschwanstein that inspired the Disney logo. We recommend to book your tickets online in advance to avoid the queue.
Climbing gardens
Overcome your fear and climb into breezy heights. The high rope course in Lenggries and the climbing forest at the Blomberg promise fun for everyone.
Take a dip in the cool water
Numerous lakes in the surroundings promise a refresh during hot summer days. You can choose between the Walchensee, Tegernseee, Sylvenstein and Kirchsee. None of them will disappoint you.
Zugspitze
Use the Zugspitz cable car to reach the highest mountain in Germany and enjoy a breathtaking view. Afterwards, we recommend a walk around the Eibsee.
Blomberg mit Sommerrodelbahn
During summer time the Blomberg offers two different luge tracks. The Lightning can be reached from the valley station or you can reach the Classic track from the middle station. It´s your choice if you would rather walk or take the chairlift.
Surfing or SUP at the Walchensee
Surfing! That´s right. The Walchensee is ideal for windsurfing and stand up paddeling. You will find a rental shop on site.
Paragliding or hot-air balloon
Do you want to feel free like a bird? Book a paragliding flight or an hot-air balloon ride.

Indoor pools and spas
On a rainy day we recommend a trip to the Isarwelle Lenggries or the Trimini at Kochel. The Trimini also offers a large sauna area.

Welcome to your excursion into the world of film and television. Discover how monumental films and beloved television series are created.
German Museum
The German Museum offers a changing variation of exhibitions and a sneak peak into the world of science.
Rock climbing and bouldering
In the Kletterzentrum Bad Toelz you can choose between indoor and outdoor rock climbing as well as bouldering.
Cinema
A great movie is probably the best choice for rainy weather. Please ask at reception for the program.
A shopping tour through the Marktstrasse
Browse around at the Toelzer Marktstrasse and treat yourself with a piece of cake during a break. The painted houses along the mainstreet are characteristic for the area.
A trip to Munich
Munich offers numerous rainy weather activities. Choose between the Allianz Arena, the Olymipa shopping mall, a concert, a theater visit, or a stroll around the famous Viktualienmarkt.
